Blue veins on breasts – Are Not Spider Veins

The build up of vast net of blue veins just below the skin’s surface, is not the spider veins syndrome you might find on your legs. Those veins will disappear when the pregnancy is over, and then the breasts themselves will return to their former natural shape and size after the birth.  Other changes that might be seen in this time of the pregnancy is Areola, the dark area around the nipple, As the breasts change (get heavy and with the blue veins around them) the Areola will be getting darker and larger — and will continue to grow and deepen in color over the months to come.

So there is no danger or risk at those blue veins on breasts, they will continue to grow and expand at the first and second trimester of the pregnancy. They will be there until the delivery and at the breastfeeding month right after. When you stop the breast feeding and the breast reduce their size back to your normal size, you will notice that the blue veins disappear by themselves. The same will happen to the blue veins on the belly after birth, they disappear.
